Es ist kaum vorstellbar, dass Special No. 127 als wahrhaft ikonische Version des traditionellen Eau de Cologne vor über hundert Jahren kreiert wurde. Seit seiner Kreation ist es zeitlos und relevant geblieben. Special No. 127 ist diskret, frisch und hat einen Hauch von Schneiderkunst mit einem Hauch von Floris‘ historischer Eleganz. Special No. 127 wurde 1890 für den russischen Prinzen Orloff kreiert und „Orloff Special“ genannt. Später wurde der Duft in das Repertoire von Floris aufgenommen, nachdem er nach der Seite im „Specials“-Rezeptbuch umbenannt wurde, auf der das Rezept aufgezeichnet war. Der Duft ist im Laufe der Jahre bei vielen zum Liebling geworden – sowohl bei Männern als auch bei Frauen. Zu den treuen Anhängern zählten Eva Peron und Winston Churchill. Eine an Winston Churchill gesandte Quittung für eine Bestellung, die Special No. 127 enthielt, liegt noch immer in den Schränken in der Jermyn Street 89, während seine Geschäftsbücher weiterhin in unserer Parfümerie ausgestellt sind.

    Exceptional

    I’m a fan of orange/citrus fragrances and for many years wore one particular from a famous maker. I like this one better for sure; lasts much longer on me and this one just feels more composed and balanced. Will be in my rotation for sure.

    Churchill's favouite

    I did like this fragrance although I found it didn't last an eight working hour day on me and I had to do top-up spays in the afternoon to get it to last till I went home. My wife wasn't sure about this fragrance so I probably won't buy it.
