Dieser lebendige Duft beginnt mit einer Zitrusexplosion aus Neroli und Zitrone, ergänzt durch maritime Noten für eine zusätzliche Meeresbrise. Der dominante Neroli-Akkord verwebt sich mit der Herznote, wo er von intimen Jasminblüten umhüllt und durch würzige Noten von Ingwer und aromatischem Fenchelsamen belebt wird. Tiefe und Komplexität kommen von der Basis, die an den Duft des Eichenholzes der Macchia erinnert und durch warme, sinnliche Noten von Moschus und Ambra unterstützt wird. In Ahnentagebüchern und Briefen an die Jermyn Street aus dem 19. Jahrhundert wurden die Reisen von Robert Floris und seine Abenteuer im südlichen Mittelmeerraum dokumentiert. Robert reiste die Küste des Ligurischen Meeres von Frankreich nach Italien entlang und beschaffte neue Zutaten aus Übersee, die er mit nach Hause nehmen konnte. Besonders beeindruckt war er vom aromatischen Duft der Macchia der Insel, deren Duft sich über die Küste ausbreitete und einen vor der Ankunft auf der Insel begrüßte. Aus diesem wunderbaren Geruch, gepaart mit den wunderbar duftenden Orangenblütenbäumen, die entlang der Küste wachsen, entstand Neroli Voyage. Als Hommage an Robert Floris und die Einheimischen Korsikas fängt Neroli Voyage die olfaktorischen Empfindungen sommerlicher Reisen und das warme Gefühl der Heimkehr perfekt ein.

    Wonderful, but I'd steer the shopper in a different direction

    I have tried scents all my life, but I never really liked anything I tried in the store or the various scents I purchased. I started to think that all scents shared a certain base that I just didn't like. So now I'm 60 years old and based on nothing but the recommendation of TheChapsGuide youtuber, I decided to give this a try. It was the best scent I've ever had on more. The notes state a cirtrus scent, but my previous colognes had a clear citrus scent and this doesn't smell like them at all. It sort of has a deep foresty smell, and it is very subtle. It makes me think of a forest anyway, even if I've not identified the scent correctly.

    My complaint is that it does not last very long at all. Two squirts on the neck gives me the scent I like, but three overpowers. But someone would have to stand close to me to smell those two squirts.

    My other complaint is not a complaint, but rather a suggestion that you consider purchasing Mulberry Fig instead. MF came as a sample, and while I like the Voyage, I liked the MF more, it lasts longer, but I would also say it paints a similar psychological picture in the mind of anyone who smells it.

    A gem of a fragrance

    I've tried many neroli fragarnces but this is the one I gravitate to the most. Has the same scent profile as many Eau de Colognes such as the iconic 4711, however this has significantly better longevity which is uncommon of scents of this type. A mainstay fragrance for warm days.
