Hand wrapped and finely milled, our hand soap is made with a vegetable base, producing a rich, creamy lather and contain added shea butter to help moisturise the skin and leave it soft and delicately scented.

The skill and time dedicated to scenting the hard soap, along with the process of stamping it with our iconic design, remain unchanged. We still use the same mould originally created in the early 1800s. Despite their notable history, our soaps look equally at home next to a traditional Belfast or pedestal basin, as they do on the edge of a contemporary installation.

    Smells good, but not much of a lather in use

    Smells good, but not much of a lather in use. At a cost of £20 per bar I expected to have lots of lovely soft lather to soap up with. In reality it really lacked the bubbly soapy texture, and unfortunately is similar to a budget supermarket bar of soap. It does smell good there’s no denying that.

    Only soap I ever use!

    Most soaps make itch or give me a rash. Shower gel is even worse. Years ago I received a bar as a gift and have been using it ever since
