Purple Mémoire is a sophisticated scent opening with fresh top notes of aromatic lavender, bergamot, mandarin and just a hint of coriander. The soft floral heart unfolds with calming lavender and warm jasmine, with rich white flower notes, green cyclamen and smooth orris. A sensual base of amber, creamy sandalwood, rich labdanum and powdery musk layered with the comforting notes of vanilla and tonka bean bring the fragrance to a smooth close.

This Eau de Parfum is vegan.

Distant memories forgone to time, and faint sensations of summer bring to light the beauty of Purple Mémoire. A homage to the English charm of Ivy Lodge, family home of Mary Anne Floris and James R.D. Bodenham for over 50 years from the late 1800’s. Ivy Lodge was a union of love and devotion encapsulated by sprawling gardens at harmony with nature, sprays of tranquil lavender swaying in the gently breeze, and lined by treasured herb gardens of coriander. Its fragrant aroma ready to greet you ahead of your arrival to ‘Dear Old Ivy Lodge’.

Mary Anne and James obtained the family business in 1878, with the intention of transporting elements of home into the hustle of London’s centre, perfectly capturing the olfactory feeling of family summers and the sensation of bright flora enveloping under the warmth of sunlit sky.

Purple Mémoire was envisioned as a bold lavender fragrance, whilst maintaining the British heritage of the ingredient.     'Warm' lavender doesn't work for me. Too many competing scented layers that smother rather than complement the heart of the fragrance. For me personally, the final result is rather commonplace.
