    A personal favourite.

I purchased this for myself as I've always enjoyed it. For me, one of the must haves from the Floris range.

    Spectacular opening disappointing evolution

As with almost all Floris scents the opening is related to the name. Bergamotto di Positano has the most wonderfly ontense citrus blast! If only it would stay that way. The next phase is a horrible powdery cremy vanilla sickening journey. People who like citrus want more citrus and green and mild flowery scents, not sickening sweetness. The next phase is even worse with a long stuffy, sweet, assault.

If only Floris could make a citrus that stays that way theoughout without cloying sweet and resinous after scents! Citrus lovers want pure light scents that stay that way. I have tried so many Floris citus scents that begin beautifully, but are followed by their failed attempts to create complexity which results in sickening after phases. The only time which they have not failed is with Special No. 127. If that scent were improved with more intesnse bergamot, neroli, orange, lemon, lavender, and a small touch of vetever it would be perfect.
